Are the times different if you have a physical disc? I bought Dead Rising 3 along with the console, and it needs to be installed too.

I guess, basically, is there a difference between full fledged downloads and, eh..."partial" downloads? If that is the right wording.

if it's a digital copy of the game, you're stuck regardless, just shut down everything on your network if you want to try and go faster.

If you have the disc, you can speed it up a bit by disconnecting the xbox from the wifi while installing directly from the disc. You'll still need to download the update after the fact, but it can be better than trying to do both at once (which is what the One does currently)

Wireless? There goes your problem. Wireless is horrible for anything gaming related. Wired is your best bet. I downloaded the game from my Titanfall bundle in roughly a half hour. I did wireless for a few minutes on my X360, and quickly saw that it was a very bad choice. I went back to wired.
