What is wrong with Forza 5?

I have played all Forza games.
There is nothing wrong with Forza5

It is the best in the series imo, with upgraded visuals and amazing physics.
If you are into simulation.

Most of the content requires Live! purchases(DLC) or an obscene amount of grinding.

It is a cash grab game riddle with micro transactions.

I was dam near ready to go buy it today.

I don't mind grinding, did that in FM4 and had fun but if most of the content is paid DLC then screw that.

If you were nearly ready to buy it why did you not wait and hear his reasons?

He started helping other people and really didn't go into his reasons.Figured it would be easier to come home and log on here to have a nice lengthy in depth look at it.Also,i live less than 5 miles from the GS so its not a problem going back if i want to.

I am not worried about reveal visuals vs release visuals.Played the demo kiosk at GS and the game looked good enough for me.Just worried about the apparent lack of content.

I am used to FM doing regular DLC car packs,i can deal with that. What worries me is lack of tracks foremost and lack of cars second.I would imagine there are plenty of cars on disc to keep you busy for some time but if there are only a few tracks with the rest being DLC that is concerning to me personally.

But i dunno,i hear from one person the content level is fine then another that its skimped on with the majority being paid DLC.Not sure what to think.

Was told today that i shouldn't get FM5 from a Gamestop employee.I know they are mostly morons but he sounded convincing.

Mainly his complaints were lack of content.I left before he elaborated on what kinds of content it lacked. Is it cars, tracks or maybe both?

20 dollars per car dlc cant honestly be called microtransactions. Yes, you can grind for them but when youre only getting 2,000 points a race, it takes a while to get up to 1 or 2 million and those cars arent even the uber elite concept stuff youd expect and instead are things like the dodge charger and what not.

It's kinda bs that the gaming media didnt make more of a big deal about how blatantly this game attempts to rip off the gamer. Its designed like a cellphone game almost, but things cost a lot more than 99 cents.

Marcus beer is the only one that called this out for what it is.

Forza 5 is a decent game the content level is ok and but you have to grind you are not forced to micro transactions unless you want content quicker

Ah,so they made grinding way more tiresome with the choice to either grind forever or pay?2k a race to save 1-2 million for a charger does sound sort of extreme.

Is there even any super cool concept stuff in game that you can super grind for or are those cars mainly behind paid DLC?

yes, those pics are hilarious. but, you're going to have to come up with a better argument than showing still images of crowds in a fast-paced 60fps racing game, if you want anyone here to take you seriously. the game looks amazing, especially when i compare it to forza 4 on the same tv, running on actual hardware and not low bitrate videos or hilarious screenshots of crowds i never notice while speeding by at 200+ mph.

Lol. It looks better than a game that was released on a last gen system in 2011?

Wow. World rocked./sarcasm

Looking better than forza 4 isn't impressive if it looks like crap compared to other next gen games.
