Launch owners: do you regret getting it day one?

Or was it worth it? Even though there's bundles already coming out like the Titanfall bundle.

I love console launches. I bought my 3DS, Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One day one and I don`t regret it.

I bought bought mine in late December, no freebies, no regrets. I traded in a ton of games, I figure if I waited this long I would've lost $100+ in trade in value of those games. I almost covered the cost of the system on trade ins alone.

Regret it--if I had waited about a month or two, I wouldn't have purchased it at all.

But not because of the price drop, because of all of the info about the two systems that came out about a month or two after release.

I don't regret it because I would eventually have bought one, but so far there's nothing that has made me feel like I was smart to have been an early adopter.

I had hoped titanfall was going to be THAT game, but IMO it is not.

I bought mine Day One and fully expected there to be a "better deal" sooner rather than later, because that's what happens with hardware, especially consoles.

Really the only regret I have is getting Battlefield 4 as my first $60 purchase, and that mainly has to do with EA having issues with the game across every platform. Luckily the first game I got was Killer Instinct and that alone has made me not regret getting the console.

Generally it is NEVER smart to be an early adopter. At best you get the worst version of the product at the highest price. And at worst you get a product that sees no support and dies.

That being said, I do not regret my Day One purchase at all. Could I have waited? Of course. Should I have waited? Probably as the XBOne was a distraction when I didn't need one. But I've enjoyed it nonetheless.

ALL games should have a Single Player mode. I can always guarantee I want to play when I turn on my system. I can't guarantee others will at the same time.
