VR sounds way more tempting than a motion camera.

Kinect isn't really necessary for VR though.

Its makes the experience better

You're missing the point in my response to that post. MS including the kinect doesn't mean they were or are planning vr.

VR and AR are verry different, people need to stop using them interchangeably. AR is worthless ****, and the roadmap thing only referenced AR. I've seen zero credible evidence MS is working on actual VR.

Or it could mean exactly that. What if that WAS part of the plan all along? There is evidence to support that.

The fact that Sony is going to require their camera AND the Move further supports that BOTH companies were planning on this during console development. Microsoft, however, wasn't short sighted and wanted to ensure that ALL customers would have less barriers to purchasing the VR headset by including the required hardware in ALL consoles.
ALL games should have a Single Player mode. I can always guarantee I want to play when I turn on my system. I can't guarantee others will at the same time.

They actually may have been planning VR all along.Maybe they haven't announced theirs yet because they were hanging back for Sony first.

Looks like Ray Kurzweil was right.

The Occulus Rift will still beat both versions though. VR will only really take over until it is glasses size or in Contact Lenses.
