Just picked up the Headset adapter and hooking it up to my TB X41's. I hear the people fine and the game sounds fine too. However, my friends say they can hear themselves echoing after they talk.

Anyone have this issue? I tried turning the chat volume on the headset wire all the way down and just use the chat managing off of the adapter itself. Still nothing. It's not a volume thing because they can't hear the game. Only their voices.

Pretty frustrating. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I can't even get my Turtle Beach XP400 headset to work with it. I can hear people talk, but they sound static, an I can't even use my mic to talk at all =/

It's definitely glitchy. I've tried everything. I don't want to take the thing back because I know the SECOND that happens, it'll be patched.

Have you done the stuff listed here? It's for Astro but most of the instructions are relevant for any gaming headset:

Make sure the talkback cable is plugged in all the way.
