Microsoft wasn't lying Xbox one extremely powerful when Direct X 12

but the big news is Direct X 12 fully compatible with Xbox one

turn 10 is on stage now posting Forza 5 is getting direct x 12 support game will look better than the e3 preview

there you go sorry about that everybody's going crazy over there if Microsoft can pull this off and make the Xbox one powerful enough to catch up the ps4 or even surpass it this would be the greatest technological thing ever done taking hardware that is supposedly 40 percent weaker and actually making it more powerful

The Forza demo was on Nvidia.

Direct X12 could theoretically give 50% less workload for CPU and a 20% boost in graphics.

Pretty interesting stuff.


Of course, this is a tech demo and an unveil, so most of it should be taken with a grain of salt.
As it was with the power of the cloud and AMDs Mantle, theoretically possible doesn't mean it will actually happen as they say it will.
