My Xbox is having some problems.

Whenever I eject a disc for the first time after starting up the system, it will immediately be pulled back into the system. After this happens, every one of my games will not read and the system tells me to check my disc. I need to do a hard reboot in order to get things working again.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Is it time to call Microsoft?

I literally just encountered this issue, and using "Power Saver" fixed it. I've been using "Instant-On" since release, and this is the first time this has ever happened to me.

I, too, am worried about this.

Karma doesn't exist.

I'm assuming you're in the early update preview program?

If so this is a known issue over on the official preview forums, last I checked there were about six pages worth of people complaining about this issue myself included.

The most recent update is somehow causing this and apparently Microsoft is already working on a update/patch to resolve it

So no need to call Microsoft, just hope for a quick update!

Offended at what exactly? I just like it when someone acts like an idiot and then something bad happens to them.

Thank you! Went through 7 360s and I was starting to have flashbacks.

Yeah no problem, I think I'll be opting out of the preview program. Dealing with bugs in chat and in the software isn't a big deal but this affects the hardware and the game discs themselves, that's a no go for me
