Probably, but I doubt VR will take off.

Oculus Rift begs to differ.

Agreed.

I was already amazed at what they showed with gameplay but virtual porn, just wow - Warning NSFW: http://vimeo.com/89461943

Yeah, I think VR will definitely succeed.

K. I'm considering buying Version 2 now.....not sure if I can wait for the full product now haha! That looks like a real woman's butt in your face lol.

Just imagine what that will look like when the release model has full 1080p. They look real in low definition.

Virtual Reality is nothing new but with today's realistic graphics especially the huge library of FPS games it will be more useful than ever before..

I like the idea of VR but I hope they will support using VR as your screen monitor ONLY and allows you to play the game using the default controllers, that would be great.

This. It may have been a gimmick before, but with more high-resolution displays being available for that kind of tech due to modern advancements in technology, virtual reality is finally a serious topic.

the Oculus might very well be a system seller for me, im keeping a very close eye on this.

After the Virtual Boy carved permanent scars into my retinas, I'm a little wary of VR stuff. But...This kinda rekindled my interest:

Also take a look at this

Very cool tech all around, regardless of whether you are a fan of Sony or Microsoft. we are getting to ACTUAL innovation with gaming now, the likes of which we have not seen in a very long time. Sure, chances are we still won't see this released for consumers for years to come, but the fact that it is being worked on, and it is working well, is incredible.

^^ That was the same thought everyone had with Kinect. "At least its ACTUAL innovation." Kinect sucks for gaming and Occulus Rift sucks for gaming and whatever PS4 is going for is just to try and keep up with Kinect.

Literally unless you are into super-realistic airplane games where you can look around the cockpit, there is no other game that benefits from this, just like Kinect.
