Does the X1 have a chance at catching the PS4 in sales?

It seems as if the X1 has been rocky ever since E3. Now, EA has realized that they could have had much more sales by making Titan Fall multiplatform and is done being exclusive to Microsoft. What does Microsoft have to do to right this ship?

if you enjoy the games on x1, why do you care? what happened to gamers that actually care about gaming and not sales reports?

they're releasing the X1 in japan in september, this year. This should close the gap then.

Unless you work for Sony/Microsoft and sales impact your financial life, who cares.

Just play what you like.

Say what you will but Microsoft is doing a hell of a lot more than Sony. MS made some mistakes but they are making up for it with great exclusives, timed exclusives, constant updates and constant console upgrades.

IMO It will end up being like last gen. MS will win over sales in the US while Sony takes the world wide sales. Sony just isn't doing anything right now while MS is making big moves.

The Xbox One will sell like smelly used socks in Japan, just like the Xbox 360 did. Japan has never been a fan of the Microsoft platform, and I suspect that those that wanted an Xbox One will have already imported one by now.

Nope. Not a chance.
PS4 is superior console and yet cheaper than the weaker x1. All multi plafforms games run best on PS4.

Unless microsoft started to well x1 100 cheaper than PS4, than its game over for the bone.

You can argue current exclusives all you want, some think ps4 has better something xbone has better but in the end it doesn't matter because MS currently has crap for developers so there's no way this pace with exclusives will last for long and timed exclusive is BS it's just them being too lazy/cheap to make their own and just pretend they have more exclusives.

As for updates/upgrades, both are doing that, they are new consoles.

If those smelly used socks were previously worn by teenage school girls then they'll fly off the shelf like used panties out of a vending machine!
