Oh well, I hope it does something for the games and not just graphics.

Current gen seems to thinks graphics are more important than gameplay for some reason.

PvZ was a stand out though and I liked knack even though it was a shallow playformer, more originality plz.

"Microsoft confirms DX12 = 600 Gflops/sec on X1?
Highlight that for me if you can."

i misread, it's not 20gflops, it's 20% more gflops

"Microsoft also claims that the Xbox One will get a 20% boost per frame due to 20% more Gflops being available for use."

1.38 tflops x 0.2 = 28 gflops per frame

30fps = 30 x 28gflops = 840gflops
60fps = 60 x 28gflops = 1680gflop

so it's actually even better

So somehow changing graphics API will make the card faster? I'm not sure about this information.

Read the article. The topic title is a total lie. Microsoft estimated a 20% increase boost per frame for an increase of 248 Gflops to about 1.44Tflops total for the X1. Still under the PS4's 1.84.

Nice try though at spinning an article you apparently didnt read. The main draw of DX12 is going to be to streamline the overhead for multi-threading. With the lower level hardware access as well as less background running on the X1 the overhead wasnt nearly as much of a concern on the console.

The third message is a pony defense post. Go figure.
God forbid anything good happen to the xone.

I like to think I make some pretty good topics and posts, until they get modded shortly after.

It's good ms will be able to optimize the content better, with less overhead.
But it's up to:
1680 Gflops/sec...

Why would PC users care? They'll get even more performance boost due to superior hardware and a lot more bottlenecks.
