The ID@Xbox program, which we’re showcasing today — moving from announcement and concept at Gamescom last August to reality here, with more than 250 developers already in receipt of tools and working on games. We have 25 games playable here. Just to put that 250 developers in context, that’s more than the entire independent developer cohort on Xbox 360. In 120 days, we have more developers working on Xbox One in the ID program than we had lifetime on 360.

Dacky yar! As if it wasn't hard enough to find stuff on Xbox 360, now they gotta merge the game channels with 1000x as much crap.

Let's hope it doesn't turn into the same crap as Steam greenlight has turned into.

A few good indie games are great, but a gazillion crappy ones on top of them are not needed.

The indie program on X1 is NOT the same as on 360. Microsoft has to approve all games. So we're not going to get a bunch of crap like before. I'm looking forward to ID@XBOX and seeing what the indies bring in. Why not support these guys instead of slamming what they do?

I'm so tired of this indie crap... why is it getting so much attention...because good AAA games come to far and few

I have no intent on going backward in gaming time to play 2d 8bit top down games...

Because Indie games like "The Witness" are so 8bit top down.

Or games like Awesomenauts the best MOBA in my opinion.

Or games like Rainbow Moon (an amazing combat system for an RPG when a year of AAA JRPGS sucked for all consoles.
