if you think microsoft doesn't make this up with all the season pass purchases on either forza or microsoft which 7/10 people will.

also you can get the forza 5 bundle of amazon with a code for 399

HAHAHAHA Ace! I might not agree with everything you say but at least you don't take things so serious (like most people on this site) when at the end of the day all we are discussing is video games. Plus you are kind of funny!

I appreciate that sir. I don't try to come off the way I do...I was just drawn this way. Like that hottie Jessica Rabbit.

But yeah, at the end of the day, I love games too. Sometimes arguing on here is just fun, even though I know the time would be spend better doing literally anything else, lol.

But gold has always been about playing online and paying or the best online gaming service since the original Xbox.

Ps+ has mostly always been about the exclusive deals and IGC and now they're keeping online play behind a paywall is just rude to the fanbase.

Really not trying to troll. But are you saying that hiding everything behind a paywall is better? That's what MS does they hide every feature required for the internet behind a paywall including youtube. And as for the whole well live is more reliable. I have had an equal amount of problems with both my 360 and my ps3. And I have had my 360 since launch and my ps3 since the year after launch. And as for the new console I have yet to have any problems, with my ps4 online and have already had loads of problems with my xbox one online. And as for the dedicated servers it's about time MS did that Sony was doing it last gen. They did it with the resistance franchise, socom, mag among others. And not every game on playstation requires playstation plus to play online only some of them. And they have left that up the devs. Whereas MS hides EVERY bit of content behind a paywall.

Still shows $499 on thier store. If it's a reliance on a hidden promo code, then it's not considered a price drop.

This is not a price drop on Xbox One. The Microsoft retail stores often set prices and run promotions in line with the rest of the retail industry, ensuring that its customers always get a good value for the devices and services purchased from the stores. The current online and physical Microsoft retail store price is not reflective of an MSRP price drop on Xbox One, which is still priced at $499 USD.

I like how the GameFAQs spellcheck shows that the word "Wii" is fine, but the words "Xbox" and "Kinect" show up as typos.

They'll need to drop it in price more than that. Even knocking it down to $450 AND bundling their biggest game isn't helping.

The reality is they've taken too much of a PR black eye. It will be difficult if not impossible to ever come back from that.

Not to mention, consumers are getting savvier. They're starting to realize that even if the XBone was the exact same price as the PS4, the PS4 still offers the better value, given that it comes with a built in "recharge" kit that Microsoft tries to charge you extra for, the option to put in your own hard drive at the current cost of laptop drives, etc. to say nothing of the fact that the PS4 is just the stronger system.

I don't have an Xbox One yet, but is there anything stopping people from just plugging in any mini USB cable and using the Xbox One controller as a wired controller?

What were xbox fankids playing before xbox even existed? Serious question. Playstation 1 came first. As did SNES, NES, Genesis, Saturn. etc. I started with NES.

MS is still the new kid that screws up the more often. This price drop is sign of them backpedaling. And even after it's still $50 more expensive while less futureproofed than PS4. Not good.
