Infamous vs Titanfall sales

#1LostOdyssey17Posted 3/24/2014 9:21:36 PM
Why do the gamers think that Infamous (potentially) outselling Titanfall is such a huge feat?

The PS4 has a larger userbase.
The PS4 has been bone-dry on games for weeks, if not months now.

Meanwhile Titanfall is barreling through XOne users doors across the U.S. and U.K.

I like to think I make some pretty good topics and posts, until they get modded shortly after.

4 discs for Lost Odyssey, made it annoying.

Titanfall was supposed to be a system seller, if it was, it had the potential to meet or beat Infamous sales. Since it didn't, it's not a system seller.

Umm...(from the same source)

MCV has also been told by a trusted retail source that Titanfall sold just under double the amount of units its first week than InFamous managed in its debut week

MCV can also reveal that around one in four UK Xbox One owners purchased Titanfall. Meanwhile, around one in nine PS4 owners acquired InFamous: Second Son.

So in the UK Titanfall had nearly double the sales, and over twice the attach rate. I can only imagine that in the US, where the console totals are closer, that Titanfall won by an even greater margin. Try again troll.

From an earlier topic about the uk sales stats.

I don't know what's worse, company fanboys or kojima fanboys? One thing is for certain, they are most definitely the definition of a neckbeard.

I don't. Get why people are already reporting numbers on this. Infamous hasn't been out a week. So how can they say one game sold more in its week then another game considering the other game hasn't been out a week? It doesn't make any sense. Infamous has been out for 4 days.

Considering Titanfall was also a PC release it's abit unfair to compare the numbers for a true exclusive versus a quasi exclusive.

They're also comparing one game's release week sales to another game's second week sales. People around here aren't too bright.

true, Infamous will probably sell way higher than the 4 days reported in a entire week.

Yea I worked at a GameStop for over 3 years people never knew when games came out on a Friday. They would always come int he following Tuesday to pick up their game. It was weird because the company has an automated calling and texting service and we would call people for some of the bigger games. But people still didn't know their games came out on a Friday. I think it's because it's so rare.
