Thinking of getting Xbox one, but hate and am disabled. do you have to connect an use Kinect?

Nope. It can stay in the box if you wish. I use it all the time for voice commands though. Good stuff. --- YES! YES! YES!

No, thank god. But since you don't want to use kinect you are buying a weaker system overall and paying more for it.

sure dont have to ever use it but navigating the menu's with the controller is a mess right now. so using the voice commands rule.
