Wow, all i can say is I feel cheated out of my money, thus is why I will never buy a console early in its life cycle. But this is seriously starting not too look good. Im getting kinda worried.

Yup.

My guess? All those "sales" were really shipments, and now retailers can't get rid of 'em.

On one hand we have all of these price slashings, and on the other we have great sales numbers from NPD.

I think the obvious explanation here is MS was simply taking advantage of early adopters, and always had plans to cut the price quickly. This is not uncommon.

the differences when Nintendo did it it still didn't Sell.. Microsoft has been selling themand they've been selling really really well its great news for everybodycustomers are getting a deal and Microsoft is growing the install base
