Gen 3 here, uncle handed me down his Genesis with MK2 when he got his N64. Around the time PS2 and Xbox launched I got an N64, near the end of their life cycles I got a PS2 (and long after the 360 was out I got an Xbox). About 6 years into the 360's lifecycle I got one, and I now have an Xbox One. =]
