Microsoft could potential add in more features that work to the advantage of gamers, but that's about it. The hardware is set in stone unless they announce they plan on changing the internal components.
i hope they find a way to update as to where if you don't want the instant switching from tv and aps to games is turned off which ultimately helps give it more power.
now that could be a game changer. sure it'll lack some where compaired to ps4 but if its true that the power is split between these features we should have the option to have that power focused through them all or just all for gaming.
Xbox One beat PS4 in power? No way. All PS4 games look better than anything Xbox has, including Ryse. Even that piss poor game Killzone Shadow Fall looks better than Ryse. Forza 5 looks better than Ryse. But this is all a matter of subjectivity.
Features, Xbox One already kills the PS4.
UI - Doubtful. They can make it less cluttered looking, but that's really it. PS4 UI is beyond simple. Installed apps on the bottom, and XMB like menu on the top. But if they are following the trend, the metro style will stay. And many people say it looks cluttered even on Windows 8 on various forums and articles. So take that with a grain of salt.
"Better" is a subjective term. Only time will tell which console does the most with what they've been given. PS4 has lots of potential, will it be fully realized? No one can answer that yet.
The truth is that most of these multi-platform games dumb themselves down to the lowest common denominator. So a game available for both systems MAY only marginally be better on the ps4. Really the lowest common denominator is the ps3 and 360. As long as developers keep trying to port ps4/X1 games to those older consoles then the new generation will never reach it's full potential. Specs be damned.
