lol, can't even edit @ this level.
Not to mention the PlayStation 3 version of The iDOLM@STER 2 had Hatsune Miku + bunch of different DLC exclusive to PS = Nail in Xbox's Coffin.
What the hell is that?
Few to none. Jp games will stick to the nintendo and Sony consoles and handhelds.
A huge system seller in Japan

If that's the case, why didn't the 360 do better in Japan?

Cause the game was available in the arcades also in which people would be able to keep data of their progress of the game on player cards, so no real reason to get it on a console that they didn't like. As for the sequel I believe there wasn't a arcade version yet it was not announced as exclusive so I would safely assume people would wait for an upgraded port version on the PS3 with extra content kinda like Tales of Vesperia
Because not a lot of people, in Japan or the west, would spend 300$ for a console to play 3-4 unique (because some got remastered Platinum/best hits treatment) games. + Space available at home if they want other home consoles as well.
Plus the last Xbox 360 iDOLM@STER title is ranked 2 for it's genre.
and the newest one (PS3 only) The iDOLM@STER One for All is currently ranked 19 for Video Game Best Sellers (Includes Nintendo/Sony/Xbox). Collector's Edition (Preorder) too @ 101.72$ (Google Currency Converter)
Game will be released May 15, 2014
And I'm not going into the live performances because that'll take too long.
D4 from the dude that made DP.
Having a dream is essential to live.
lol, it will but the games wont sell very well and it'll be like 360 again. It'll drop off the face of da universes.
This. The Xbox One will flop in Japan just as the 360 did.
I apologize for nothing.
Of course. Phil already said the One would get a couple of exclusive Japanese games. It's already getting one with D4.
It already has one now with Crimson Dragon.
Namco Bandai already made a pact with Sony so don't expect a The iDOLM@STER or Tales game on the Xbox One.
I've heard that before, about Namco Bandai allegedly having a "pact" with Sony. That was supposed to be the reason why Tekken 6 would "never" be on the 360, but we all know what happened with that. With KH3 and FFXV being multi-platform, I wouldn't expect too many Japanese exclusives on either the XB1 or PS4.
I like how the GameFAQs spellcheck shows that the word "Wii" is fine, but the words "Xbox" and "Kinect" show up as typos.
