So, I'm at Target the other day, and I happen to see a PS4 demo

DS3 was awefull, but I like the DS4 more than the X1 controller.
But it isn't like the X1 controller is bad or anything.

The be honest I prefer the Wiiu's Pro controller over both.
The placement of the sticks, and the sticks itself are really good.
They just really f-ed up on the triggers.

Ds are developed for people with tiny hands. Im too big to play playstation.
This is why I'm never going to get a ps4

Without reading anything but first post all i can say as the owner of x1 and ps4 is the controller hurts my hands after a playing a while. 360 controller is also nowhere near as nice as x1 controller

the ds4 is a huge improvement

and this is coming from someone who could barely use the ds3 because of the size of my hands

And I pick up the controller, and holy crap, I remembered how horrible the dualshocks are. I find it extremely awkward how the control pad is located at the bottom. The dpad is really only used in 2D games, why put it at the top? And the way its shaped makes tthe back buttons very uncomfortable to use. Horrible for FPS especially.

The Xbox controller is miles ahead of the dualshock.

Except everyone outside this board disagrees with you....

I think the controllers are pretty much equal now.

I still prefer the shape of the triggers on the XB1 controllers in that they're more shaped like an actual triggers as opposed to the more rounded buttons on the DS4, but I'm not going to split hairs.

The DS4 basically took a cue from the 360 controller with the more form fitting grips and (while still in the wrong place) the analogs being spaced out more so that your hands/thumbs don't cramp up if they're any larger than that of a 10 year old girl.

Both controllers would be even better if the X1 controller had bumper buttons similar to the DS4 and the DS4 had similar trigger buttons to the X1

Yeah the x1 controller is miles better than ds4, the only people who will say otherwise are people who are too used to the ps controllers. On ds4 the triggers are horrible and the analogs feel awkward, but sony has too much pride to change there controller layout. That being said though neither controller is all that bad.
If gamefaqs didn't have a levelling system i'd be gone.
