Big difference in the XB1 and PC as expected, but barely any difference in the 360 and Xb1 version. Is anyone surprised? I am because I didn't think the 360 version would even come close to the XB1.
Unsurprisingly, both the PC and Xbox One outperform the aging 360, but the difference is smaller than you might expect. In reality, the Xbox One is something of a half-step between the 360 and PC.
Over at Digital Foundry, all three versions of Titanfall have been compared head-to-head. Apparently, the Xbox 360 port is rendering natively at 1040◊600. Thatís small compared to the 1408◊792 resolution on the Xbox One, and the native 1080p resolution on the PC, but the numbers tell an interesting story.
The Xbox One version is rendering at roughly 1.79 times the resolution of the 360, and the PC is rendering at roughly 1.86 times the resolution of the Xbox One. If youíre just comparing the sheer number of pixels, the gap between the Xbox One and PC is actually larger than the gap between the two Xboxes.
In the end, the Xbox One version is superior to the Xbox 360 port, but not as drastically as it should be.
