Why did you chose the Xbox brand initially ?

I went shopping and saw the Xbox and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and I picked it up. Got a copy of the original Halo while I was there to see what all the talk was about.

I already had a Gamecube and PS2, so the only one left was the Xbox. Plus I wanted to play Halo to see what all the hype was about

Xbox 360, PS4. Looking to get a PS3, Vita, and Wii U.

Jet Set Radio, KotOR, Fable, Fuzion Frenzy, The Elder Scrolls, and Conker Reloaded. I bought the 360 for Perfect Dark and that amazing Banjo-Kazooie trailer that became Nuts & Bolts, and as far as exclusives go I was very disappointed with that console. I only use it to play Dreamcast and OG Xbox games these days. I've become increasingly dissatisfied with the Xbox brand over the years. Absolutely nothing makes me want the Xbox One.

Only XBox I've ever had was a 360---because it had a lot of games I wanted on it (back in 2009, so pretty much none of the games were on the PS3 yet, even though most of them eventually made it there)

No way I'm shelling out cash for an XB 1 though. If only to keep the Kinect out of my apartment

Been a fan ever since I got my Xbox from launch. The Xbox was easily my favourite 6th gen console, the hardware was immense. Custom soundtracks and Xbox live was another bonus.

Also enjoyed the 360 very much. Best controller of any console and like the Xbox before, it was quite a powerhouse. Another generation of superior multiplats.

I haven't got the xb1 so far, but will pick one up at some point. While it has some great games, I was hoping for more brute force like the older consoles. That's one of the reasons I don't yet own one.

Nintendo has been leaving me put-off by their home consoles since the N64. And I've had bad luck with SONY hardware all the way back to the Walkman. So, after the Dreamcast I naturally drifted to the XBOX.

Cheating has gone hand-in-hand with gaming for centuries. Video games in particular often have cheats built right into the game.

Wasn't there some of the Dreamcasts dna with the Xbox, as in they helped develop it.
