To people who own Xbox One and a gaming PC, which do you prefer?

I just like sitting on the couch. I work on computers all day and when I come home I don't want to be in the same setup I'm in at work. Its not relaxing.

But I still do use my PC. Mainly for things I can't get on consoles. Such as Osu!, Shadow Warrior, Rise of the Triad, etc. I actually have a Surface Pro 2 that sees a lot of use as well. Just because its so convenient and is a great Counter Strike/Osu! machine.

Which games?

If I could remember, I would have already cited them. I can tell you it wasn't City of Heroes, Champions Online, DCUO, Sim City, TERA, Warframe (in BETA before they changed the advancement trees to some horrible card crafting system), or Neverwinter as far as graphic drivers and such go. I did have to use third party mapping software for most of those games in order to make the controller properly functional, however. Those are the only PC games I can recall off the top of my head, but I probably played at least 5 times that many over the past couple of years. And then there are all the 3DS and 360 games I played, most of which I also couldn't name off the top of my head. And all the books, series, and movies... it's really a wonder I can still remember *my* name, whatever that is.

Cheating has gone hand-in-hand with gaming for centuries. Video games in particular often have cheats built right into the game.

Gaming PC is the only correct answer

I'm surprised you're griping about the fact that it can take some effort to get a controller working with certain games when most PC games are designed to be played with a M&K. Why gimp yourself control wise and go through the extra trouble on top of it when you could (and should) just use the M&K? Moreover, this is still a huge advantage to the PC because at least it's possible to get a controller working in most games - one way or another. Trying to get a M&K working on a console however isn't possible at all unless you use one of those adapters that simply don't work.

Anyone who thinks using a controller over a mouse and keyboard is better is obviously handicapped.

Mentally.

My pc's hidden behind and hooked up to my tv in the living room. Which is also where my x1 and 360 are. I use controllers for them all because a m/k setup on a couch is just too sad for people who have other things to live for. Ooooh. Shots fired.

It really depends on what i'm doing, tc. I like the 360 for its console exclusives and ms ip. The xb1 will have all that going for it, too, and is already well on its way. Plus right now it's running my tv and doing all that slick voice/ motion stuff these schmucks hate for no reason.

Pc's where i go for multiplats, indies, mods, internet, apps and all that. Though my wife and i were working the xb1 browser last night and saw the potential in finding porn without having to use our hands, theres something to be said about things working better for the platforms they were designed for and no matter how far console/ phone apps may come, youtube.com, and the like, just work better on pc.

Both machines do an awful lot very well, though. I have no complaints against either, really. The one you get the most mileage out of really depends on what kind of person you are. To me, since both have been in the house, it's honestly been about half and half.

If I had a gaming PC, I would most likely prefer that. This new gen is a win for PC anyway thanks to how the PS4 and X1 are built. PC will get a lot of these multiplats as well, and better versions. I am just waiting until I can make the investment. I want to build a really good one.

Yet we have this guy say,

Gaming PC.

So much so that I haven't even bothered buying an x1 yet.

K....?

Was just about to mention this. A few of the people stating their preference are simply trolling since they don't even have a XBO.

I enjoy 1080p resolutions so I stick with the PS4 for console games and PC for PC games. I also enjoy Nintendo Wii-U because it has more games in 1080p than the XBOX ONE. I just have an eye for quality, I guess.
