I believe that the X1 has outsold PS4 for March...

Who cares.. Just enjoy the console you own. If you want the other console, buy it.

It's so pathetic reading the fanboy topics on these boards.. I guess that's what you get when you're not a teenager anymore.

I fully expect XB1's numbers to be higher for March, they really do need to be much better than PS4 to have shown any kind of momentum. MS obviously felt they needed to take drastic action with the TF bundle, and retailers felt the same way with some of them offering a $50 price slash on top of that. My issue with this is they played this card so early in the game, without a big win in March the following months are setting up for the XB1 to get crushed.

I feel like MS thought they could narrow the gap last month to the point where they were really no longer in a game of catch-up until the big holiday season. My predicition is in fact a sales victory for March, but for the next 6-7 months the gap continues to widen tremendously with MS's only option to take another drastic step, lower console price by $100 across the board.

according to vgchartz, XB1 leads in US sales by around 45k for March.
But PS4 has the edge in WW sales by about 225k for the month,

Sony announcing that they've sold 7 million PS4's so far is a way to deflect from the NPD results tomorrow. I'm guessing that X1 will take the win tomorrow, with Titanfall placing in the Top 5 for units sold.

Curious to see how many X1's have been sold, but we'll probably find out soon.

And so we did.

The Xbox One lost the United States in March as well.

I'm a bit confused. Why do folks care so much about what outsold what? Can't you just enjoy your console?
