Looks lovely, the Fable games did always have that about them, they where pretty, not just graphically but they had great art style.

They can get away with that because lion head will ship at 20fps. Pretty upset with fable anniversary.

I blame molonuex. He's proven recently that he was payed to talk **** to us. I hope him being gone will help, this new fable sounds really promising.

Fable has always been mediocre trash rife with empty promises and Peter's large imagination.

How anyone considers this series worthwhile I'll never know. Peter talks a big game but can't deliver for s***.

It does look promising, but the reputation around the series has put me off. I will take the safe route of wait and see.

Thanks for the link OP. Tl;dr:

UE4 had SVOGI (Sparse Voxel Octree Global Illumiantion). Was too expensive, dropped 1 year ago. Lionhead developed something similar to Crytek's method (Light Propagation Volumes - http://www.crytek.com/download/Light_Propagation_Volumes.pdf ), is added to UE4. Better lighting = good. Nice pics showing the difference it makes too.

"Microsoft's Lionhead studio "has been a big contributor" to Unreal Engine 4, says Sweeney. "They built the new system for realtime global illumination with light propagation values, and contributed that to Epic -- and we merged it. And now you're seeing it in this version of the engine that we released.""

But But Dynamic Global Illumination will allow you to TRULY see the npc's facial reaction when you fart in their face.
