Well it was 3.4 million before. Add in 300k from March. Puts it at 3.7 million.

Told you it would have been under 3.8 million, I was right.

Is the X1 only on sale in the US?

It might as well be. the other territories wont add much worth reporting (maybe the uk numbers will be decent?)

too much fact

You know that these numbers show that MS has a higher attach rate, right? Which seems to indicate why their exclusives may sell more, which is what people are arguing in the title?

With the numbers you provided:

Sony: At 7 million worldwide, attach rate is 2.28
MS: At potentially 5 million worldwide, attach rate is 2.43

If you think the Xbox One sold less than 5 million, then it has an even higher attach rate. If it sold 5.5 million or more, then it does have a smaller attach rate, but that would indicate that it is rapidly gaining ground on Sony in console sales.

So, yes, this indicates that the Sony fan base is buying less games for whatever reason...

Err, no, it still indicates that Sony fan base buy more games that Xbox One fan base.

It works like that : 15,983,700 > 12,158,169

They are gonna do a "thank you" video for the retailers who are supporting Xbox One. They made 5 million possible not the consumers.

Thank You K-Mart for your support.

True that ;)

Those mathemagics are always hilarious.

Sony sells more games than Microsoft.

BUT, if you divide that by the number of guys who bought the console, which is quite large for the PS4, then Sony sells less than Microsoft !

-> Err, no, Sony still sells more than Microsoft, no division needed whatsoever.
