Why did MS report SHIPPED sales numbers and no specific X1 Titanfall figures?

cause 5 million shipped sounds better than what was sold is my guess

They won't tell you how many was sold, but they'll tell you the exact number of zombies killed in dead rising :)

Microsoft declared sold through figures as preview from their quarterly report next week. They did this in January too.

We know enough about TF:

The Xbone version sold over 1 million this month in 1 country
It was the best selling game that month
It outsold Infamous 3:1 in said country and close to 2:1 globally.

Because lots of xbox fanboys couldn't differentiate between shipped and sold?

Probably because those numbers are not as impressive as they would have liked.
