Father kills son because he wants to play xbox games

I think people are missing the bigger problem here. We've all raged at a game, which brings to question what is it about us that finds anger in the things we love to do. What exactly is the mindset that goes on. I almost guarantee he was raging during a multiplayer game at the time. It activated something inside of him to look beyond consequence of what he was doing. He most likely loved his son very much, but he found himself in a mental state of rage that was so intense, he didn't really grasp what it was he had done.

Now, that being said, I am not saying games did this to him nor am I excusing this or condoning what he did because it is beyond excuses. But what I am saying is that studies need to look at what exactly goes on in the brain when we start to rage like this and what the exact triggers are.

That's a bs excuse. I've never beat my kids because of gaming. Even when my then 1 year old son pulled the plug out I was more upset by the fact he could have been electrocuted.

Omfg how pathetic is that guy. Wow

Don't be so surprised. Have you looked around the "internet" lately? cynic sociopaths everywhere. And they think it's cool, too, so... yeah, it stops being cool when stuff like this happens.
