We also know that 2012's not in 2013 and 2013's not in 2014 right? Then explain this:https://www.npd.com/wps/portal/npd/us/news/press-releases/the-npd-group-report-on-u-s-toy-industry-retail-sales-for-2013/2013 data = 52 weeks starting January 6, 2013 through week ending January 4, 2014; 2012 data = 52 weeks starting January 8, 2012 through week ending January 5, 2013Would you look at that. 2014 data counts as 2013 data, 2013 data counts as 2012 data. Someone explain that then and tell me that NPD's wrong, NPD wouldn't do that? Then there's this:http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2014-02-13-ps4-xbox-one-sales-cant-offset-software-declines-in-january-npd"These November and December launches collectively decreased 36 percent, or 20 percent when normalized to account for the 5-week January 2013," So according to NPD, Jan 2013 has "35" days, if you really want to use that argument.Post of the ****ing year. - crimsyn_76 Best. It makes sense that they break months up by weeks, and that would mean that there would be 8 months with 28 days, and 4 months with 35 days, but I have seen nothing to show that this past March was one of the 35 day months. If March is always 35 days as the TC claims, wouldn't that mean that the 35 day months are always the same? and if that is the case, wouldn't that mean that January is always 35 days as well? Why would they have 2 of the 4 35 day months in the first quarter of the year? I think it is more likely that the number of weeks in a month changes based on when the weeks start and end in that month. All your base are belong to us TheSL1Club2 years ago#48Cornbread4life posted...dnmt posted...Sniper_Brosef posted...dnmt posted...Mar = 311k XB1 over 5 weeks (35 days)That's right folks. There are now 35 days in March! Also, dnmt topic! STOP TAKING THE BAIT YOU FOOLS!NPD always counts March as 35 days for some reason. Now what do you have to say about Xbone sales not only staying below PS4 but also dropping in its most important month of the year? Any opinion on that? Genuinely curious.Probably because nobody likes it. You can finally stop posting. You can't seem to stop posting in a topic you hate so much, rustled jimmies? They call me Hadouken because I'm down right fierce. dnmt (Topic Creator)2 years ago#49iamdanthaman posted...schmarkenheimer posted...Just in case people don't believe him, we all know December's not in January right? You don't see people on Neogaf questioning this incredibly minute detail because it doesn't matter. The actual point of this topic is the Xbone's shocking drop in number of units sold despite numerous sales, bundles and release of its biggest game of the year. Discuss that, why don't you? dnmt (Topic Creator)2 years ago#50And then Xbone fans wonder why they keep getting mocked. Man...
