xbox one is doing better than the 360 in it's 3rd year

Don't forget that supply for both Xbone and PS4 were much much bigger at launch than 360 and PS3. All the hardcore fans managed to grab their console of choice sooner.

I love how there`s these guys just hanging around here all day waiting to either make a negative comment on the Xbox or post some negative news. It`s all day every day. Then they try to rationalize it by saying "xbots don`t want to hear any differing opinions"...lmao...

I know right. It's like it is their job to do this.

If anyone's to blame for the bad Xbone news every day then it's Microsoft themselves. This is what they get for their hubris and poor decisions leading up to the Xbone's reveal.

No it started in 2005.

No, the housing bubble began to burst in 2005. The effects were not felt until late 2007 when the mortgage crisis hit with so many people defaulting on loans, cascading into the big bank fallouts of 2008.

NPD figures for March 2013 - 311,000 (average price $499)

Xbox 360 NPD figures for March

2006 - 192,000 (average price $350)
2007 - 199,000 (average price $366)
2008 - 262,000 (average price $366)
2009 - 330,000 (average price $300)

Thoughts?

One thing you don't take into account with these figures are PS3 sales, and how the 360 was whopping Sony for the first few years. The Xbox One may be selling better now than the Xbox 360 was in its first year, but the PS4 is whopping the Xbox One nearly 2 to 1 in sales. If that gap continues to grow....fill in the blank.

Actually I'll fill it in. The Xbox One will be the same price as the PS4 within 6 months with a heavy Holiday 2014 marketing campaign which MAY even out the playing field. Unless the damage done by Microsoft itself at its launch event and E3 last year proves just to insurmountable.

Go ahead and elaborate on the point you're trying to make here, I'm sure it will be very insightful.
