If its true that DX12 update will double the XB1 graphics and performance

Its impossible. Xbox is limited by hardware but you're looking at around 3 fps increase because its just optimizing the hardware.

You can put really expensive gas and motor oil in your Honda civic but its not gonna magically become a v8

Dude....
Double the power from the power via DX12
Double the power via the cloud
It's like 4 Xbones all in one!!!
It all makes so much sense now, and shame on people for crying about the price. It's like by one get three free!!!

Nah bro. The power of the cloud is infinite, so it's infinity times 2 bro.

If anyone actually believes that then I have a bunch of land I'd like to sell them. Has it gotten so dire for Microsoft fans that they now cling to fairy tales?

Nobody knows exactly what it's going to do yet. Anyone saying otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.

Words will stay as words. MS is a company that is not afraid to lie just to get what they want.

Right now, PS4 is almost twice more powerful.

That's a bit of an exaggeration.

DX12 is software and thus limited to how much it can affect performance, however it has the potential to maximize the X1's potential and help devs but it's not going to make it more powerful than it already is.

Let's see what Microsoft has to say about it themselves:

http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2014/3/20/5530420/microsoft-claims-directx-12-will-improve-xbox-one-games-wont-require

When we spoke to Microsoft's Anuj Gosalia after the announcement, though, he downplayed the importance of DX12 for Xbox One titles. The Xbox One and PS4 have difficulty running the latest games at 1080p resolution, and Gosalia suggested that DX12 won't necessarily change that or offer any particular new graphical effects. "This just lets you exploit a little bit more of what the hardware can do."
