Connections shouldn't be as much of a problem as it once were due to most major games utilizing Microsoft Azure's servers for a dedicated server experience. While playing TF, I rarely see people lagging, but when I do, I see that I'm usually at a 4-5 bar connection while everybody else is at 1-2 bars. This makes me wonder if they are just using Eastern US servers due to it being more populated than their own region. My ping to the Eastern US server averages around 13ms.

So I guess there will have to be minimum internet specs listed on the box so you know if the game will work for certain people?

Thank god ATT is starting a 300 mb up and down service here soon.

At&t has data limits. Cloud processing would own you and you'd end up owing hundreds of dollars. Get a different ISP.

Yeah, I have AT&T uverse, n I think it's 50mb down, and I download from as fast as 20mb/s, down to about 2-3mb/s, and never really going below that. I torrent many, many things. Probably hundreds of GB a month, maybe even in the ballpark of 1,000GB, so I'm pretty sure I don't have a cap. I live in Columbus, Ohio btw, and just got AT&T uverse about 1.5 years ago.

Good god, do i miss city internet! You guys are blowing my mind with somebof your speeds!

I'm in a town where having 8down, 1up and 100 ping all the time makes me one of the lucky ones because cable only works half the time at MAYBE 5down.
