lol Who the heck even remotely interested in Japanese games get an Xbox One? That's the last choice even behind Wii U and Vita.

Hey you know what all these PS3 JRPG's games have in common right now?

Tales of Graces f
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
White Knight Chronicles II
Star Ocean: The Last Hope International
Resonance of Fate
NieR
3D Dot Game Heroes
Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
Dragon's Crown
Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland
Hyperdimension Neptunia
Atelier Rorona: Alchemist of Arland
Folklore
Sorcery
Atelier Meruru: Alchemist of Arland 3
Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel
Cross Edge
Enchanted Arms
Trinity Universe
Record of Agarest War 2
TRINITY: Souls of Zill O'll
Last Rebellion

They all sold less then Lost Odyssey. Someone cares.

Lightining Returns just released, it'll definitely sell more than Lost odyssey.
And the rest are extremely niche titles, which is the whole point being argued that if they sell a few 100k on PS3 their sales on an xbox console will be too low to make the cost of porting affordable for these companies.
Also 360 got a lot of PS2 owners who were JRPG fans, but they're back to PS4 this gen, as things are going, I expect the only people who buy an XB1 to the ones who can't live without they Halo and gears.

Why are you listing some multiplats, which had sales of PS3 version >>>>>>>>>>>> 360 version as support for your argument?

This, lol. 99% of JRPGS will/would have sold much better on PS than the Dudebro Box. It's just how it is.

It seems Level 5 might be too busy to make a game for XB1.

Good news, but we all know it's a wasted effort. The Xbox brand is largely known for being a shooter platform.

Odd considering the PS3 had more shooters and more 1st party shooting development focus. Not that it matters, shooters were the best selling games last gen so it only made sense. If you want that to change then you should be 1. Supporting the idea of non shooters coming out on any/all platforms and 2.Hoping those games are good and sell well to offset the idea that console gamers only want shooters.

I like how the GameFAQs spellcheck shows that the word "Wii" is fine, but the words "Xbox" and "Kinect" show up as typos.

Going by the posters in this thread, all the games they will release will flop on the bone. Flop fast and flop bad.

Here's what I got from this topic:

Xbox fans only want to play dudebro pewpew shooters, and any Xbox fan who claims they want to play a JRPG is lying.

What has Nippon Ichi done? First time I hear of them.

Same for Level 5, although I may have heard the name once.

What has Nippon Ichi done? For serious? Lol

Lol shooterboxes. Wow.

It's the truth. They always define Xbox platforms as either "Shooter Boxes" or "DudeBro Boxes" because about 90% of the games on Xbox consoles offers FPS's much more so than any other genre.

Why, though? Think about it; how many exclusive shooters does the 360 even have? For basically all of last gen, it was just the Gears games and the Halo games.Every other shooter has been multi-platform or a PS3 exclusive.
