The day one edition is just a controller and a code. Don't see why it would be of more value to anyone it isn't special at all. It's more of a "look I'm cool my controller says Day One on it"

Think TC is referring to Day One editions are worth no more than a plain Jane Xbox One.

Which is true, the Day One edition didn't cost more, so why should it get extra credit? Who honestly cares about a skinned controller and a crappy achievement?

I rather have the achievement that said "I picked up an Xbox One with 2 games, a year of live for $230 less" (Xbox One $500, Games x 2 $60, Live $60 = $680 for $450)

This. Why would it have any special trade in value? I think they overestimated the amount of consumers that would care about a code and a controller.
