Much like the ps4.. on some games yes, on some games no.

Xbox One has 12 games running at 1080p and PS4 has 26 running at 1080p. It's pretty lopsided if you ask me, it's going to get even worse since PS4 is lead platform for multiplats.

No reason the ps4 would have worse graphics unless MS paid off someone to tamper with the ps4 version

It's actually a very common issue in just the PS4 versions.

I think it's either due to the PS4 having 512MB+ less RAM than the Xbone for games or because it doesn't have a dedicated pipe for textures as the Bone does.

Add to your list

resolution will probably drop over the next few years no one seems to care that within the first year the consoles are already at peak performance

because they didn't think the consoles hard ware would actually hit peak performance within the first year.

Unlikely. You might see some games hitting 1080p at some point, but then the graphics will get better and the game itself will require more resources and it'll be back to 720p.

PC is the only place to play games at their true potential
1080p/60fps standard, upgradable, mods, FOV sliders, ultra graphics - it's backwards compatible too

Wait...isn't Dying Light 1080p? Isn't Wolfenstein? I think The Crew is. All games that I'm not interested in, so I could be wrong. I haven't checked.

Doubtful...

PS4 running those games at 1080p 60fps no problem as their probably designed for that system. A port on the hand for the ONE will have to be downgraded unless they remove content. Look at the Batman game coming up they came out and said that the next Batman can't be played on the Wii U only because of the Batmobile.

Why because explosions clutter and the like to many things happening on the screen at once. Same is true for the ONE and PS4 the ONE is weaker and in order to give the same content they have to lower the resolution and whatnot just like any computer game to get a better performance. Just like a computer game they could lower the clutter textures and detail and keep the 1080p 60fps.

They can't do this however thanks to Microsoft shady practices concerning 3rd parties and allowing those games to be on their platform. So the content has to be the same you'll just have to get used to less than 1080p 60fps gaming is all. They won't remove their policy either as if that would open up more 3rd party ports to Nintendo few less enemies on the field, less detail and clutter and you have a game that can be released earlier and even if it was a Beta type deal using Nintendo to fix bugs and patches prior to lets say a PS4 release of the same game Microsoft wouldn't want that to happen.

Xbox One won't reach 1080p on Dragon Age Inquisition or Destiny, not by a large margin.

If you care about resolution, play on PS4 or PC.

Its not that, The problem is that both consoles are being pushed,to their limits ALREADY if they weren't xbox would have all games running at 1080p, and it's the same on the ps4 when they use all the hardwares resources.

How is it the same on the PS4? Every single game on the PS4 runs at 1080p except for BF4. It's not the same at all.
