Xbox black screen. Green globe top left. Broken?

I turned it on and its just a black screen with the green globe in the top left and white Xbox logo in top right corner...

Nothing working.

I've had two instances in the past where my screen was completely black upon booting, yet I knew the system was actually on because Kinect commands were accepted and made the bleep.

Hard reset fixed that for me both times honestly.

Did you try a hard reset? There are 2 ways to preform one.

Hold the power button for 5 seconds. Power your console back on.

Remove all the cords from the back of your console. Hold the power button for 5 seconds to drain out any excess electrical charge in the system. Replace the cords and power back on.

Do both of these, and if you still have a problem contact Xbox support.

I flipped my wall power switch after shutting it off, turned it all back on and it loaded so yeah.

Thing is just used for TV atm, collecting dust -_-

This is, literally, the first thing MS tells you to do in troubleshoot. How about you stop being a fanboy or shutting it?
