Is there any way to tell if your xbox one is a day one edition?

I bought an xbox one from newegg and the disc drive was giving me some issue the first two days but has since been ok. I was wondering if maybe they sent me a day one edition. Is there anyway I can check?

there's literally no difference between a day one console and a regular one

I was asking because it seems that the day one edition is the one with the faulty disc drive.

if it came with a day one achievement, and the center of the controller says day one, then you have a day one xbox.

The controller will say 'day one' on it.

the controller and box that come with a day one edition are different but the actual console is exactly the same as any other

so if you got a replacement console there would be no way to tell if it's a day one edition

Only people I know that had a faulty drive are the ones that had the green box (NOT Day One).... but that doesn't mean someone with a Day One didn't have a faulty drive. I just don't know of any that had.
