Why do people still praise EA even after the slop they've pulled on consumers?

I don't understand. I buy their games (even their messes like BF4), but they're "money grabbers" of the gaming industry in my opinion. Since when was forcing developers to rush their games to meet deadlines to maximise a profit a good thing?

Titanfall (a game that doesn't have enough content in my opinion) is getting DLC already and the game has only been out for a month and a half.

Their servers for some of the games they've published have ran like trash for me and my friends in the past, getting lag and rubber-banding in games with low ping (Bf4, PvZ: GW, Bf3 and so on).

I could go on with more complaints and problems me, as well as other people have experienced, but this isn't a "hate EA because it's the cool thing to do" topic, I just don't understand how people can blindly praise them as a great Dev and Publisher when a fair few of titles published and developed have corner-cutting to the extreme, Day 1 DLC and so on.

No idea.

I can't say every single game they release is a mess, but it is more and more becoming the norm.

I can't boycott them because some titles are just too tempting but, dammit, I hate that company.

Have a real point please.

When they've got titles coming out like Star Wars Battlefront 3, Dragon Age and Mass Effect, you can't boycott them as a company, you just have to #dealwithit.

because despite all the crap they do, they still are able to release good games like ME series , DA:O, etc.

It probably stems from great marketing.
Everyone knows the stuff they pull, but they also find ways like with TitanFall to get their published games hyped to the full extent. The vast majority look the other way because 'believe the hype' sells when attached to perfect scores and crap, regardless of the real outcome they snag consumers before release.
The cycle will continue. Who cares that BF4 was buggy as all hell, look BF5 has perfect scores prelaunch etc.

Aye, and they really made those great...

I don't think it is the studios that work under the EA banner that are bad, it's the suits at the top of the ivory tower that thrust things at them like a deranged porn star. I have always envisioned an EA corporate meeting to begin like so.... "Ok we all here? Good, before we begin let us chant and sacrifice this beaver to our dark master."

This.

And like you said you still buy their games so they must be decent for you.

It's an iffy.

The last game I bought from their range that I actually found very uninteresting and a chore to play, was Army of Two back on the PS3.

Since then, I've played the Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins and 2, Battlefield 3, Need for Speed: Undercover (I think hat's the one?) and Burnout Paradise. Granted, there were some that wasn't as enjoyable as the others (DA2 being the only one, though it was still a good game), but they all gave me a great time.

Either I've dodged a few of their bad eggs, or I'm just not bothered like some others. I think it might be my selection in games, or dodging the 'bad eggs' as it were, that makes me feel like the almost automatic 'hate' towards them is... baffling?

Obviously, I was looking forward to Battlefield 4 and Titanfall (still am), and maybe I'd feel differently about their practices when I do get to play either of them, I don't know. All I know is, I'm looking forward to the new Mass Effect, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I don't care in the slightest that EA is tagged on the front of the game case. :)

Jedi, you should ask that fanboy Hentaidojo(or whatever his name is) since he has hinted that he works for ea.
