The Kinect USP Hypocrisy

A good chunk of why I prefer console gaming is that I enjoy the unique gameplay experience that each different console provides. Kinect, GamePad, impulse triggers, touch pad, etc. All are cool by me. I'm looking forward to a full generation of innovative immersion enhancing gaming experiences.

I'm certainly with you in that respect, TC.

Actually, they did.

All the way up to the point that it made no economic sense to continue standing behind a vision and goal for their product that a large swath of their customer base apparently either did not want, or didn't realize they did not want until they were told they didn't by strangers on the internet.

In business, just like in life, people are often forced to do things they don't want in order to pay the bills.
