Help with cable resolution

Can't find a definitive answer on the internet so I'm hoping gamefaqs has some information.

I just purchased the xbox one and ran my HD cable box (Motorola) through the xbox one to my TV. I have noticed that now when I watch tv through the xbox one there is a significant reduction in picture quality. Almost to the point it doesn't look HD.

When I by-pass the xbox it goes back to normal. I have a 1080p Samsung LED.

I went through the xbox calibration but it doesn't help. The games, as well as Netflix, movies look great. Just the cable. Anyone know anything about this issue? Is there a solution?

Thanks.

You'd probably be better off posting this on the xbox.com forums bud. All this board is good for at the moment is people moaning about the Kinect changes right now.

MonicasBack ~This is an interesting topic, I could imagine my mom or someone else who has zero knowledge of games making it.
