So are game rentals a good thing yet?

I never cared for the rental method, not for the PS3 or PS4 so it was a bummer when XBOX adopted this method with the XBOX ONE.

I won't be cancelling my XBL anytime soon, and I want better games. I don't care if I lose them later.

PS+ has been killing it with the free games. I am glad MS didn't listen to the Xbox cheerleaders and pushed closer to the competition.

Another genius idea from the masterminds over at Microsoft.

He'd rather keep the games, his view hasn't changed because of the announcement.

I've been waiting for gwg to adopt a PS+ model. I'll never not have gold, and I'd rather get decent games than the $2 bargain bin games they typically give out.

Nope, digital rentals still suck. You can tell the tried and true fanboys apart from normal people when they flagrantly flip flop on these types of things... Plus is just rentals becomes GWG 2.0 is great! Only suckers pay for P2P multiplayer becomes well of course they charge it's standard they'd be stupid not to lol... Fanboys are like politicians or religious people.

No cause friends and GWG.

are you canceling your Xbox Live Gold subscripton? - http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/927749-xbox-360/69230114

It took me a second to figure out what point this topic was making.

PSN+ games that were available via subscription has always been a terrific deal especially if you were interested in but never decided to purchase those games in the first place - which rarely applied to me.

I'm glad Microsoft has decided to wise up so that they try offering a similar value with their Xbox Gold program. I am probably rarely to really benefit from this program but glad for others that will.
