Wow!!!!!! I really didn't expect to see this happen considering Microsoft's insistence that Kinect is an integral part of the gaming experience on Xbox One. I suppose when it comes down to it however this is what a lot of people claimed they want and I suppose Microsoft is providing it however now that it has actually happened is it enough to convince you to buy an Xbox One if you don't already have one?

For those who do already do have an Xbox One do you regret your purchase? Would you have bought an Xbox One without Kinect or do you view it as something that you would still want to have coupled with your console?

Let's just say it's worth taking into consideration now. I don't have a PS4 or Wii U either. Ask again after E3 and I can tell you which one I'm getting first (will get the others down the line).

As a console alongside your main gaming platform (PS4, Wii U, PC ect) or as a second Xbox One?

I like this move. Like NINfanboy said, if they have a good showing at E3 I might just pick up the system now. I prefer the X1 controller to the ps4, and now with the apps being free to use and the kinect being standalone Microsoft finally has my attention.

If they have games I like at E3, I'll pick it up later without Kinect. After I get my PS4.

Let's just say that I am a helluva lot closer to buying a ONE today than I was yesterday.

And to think...people laughed at me when I said MS could out-EA EA any day of the week.
Who's laughing now, *****es???

Missing "No, kinect removal helps but system still needs games" option.
