normally whenever a new console gets a price drop it jumps to near the top of the amazon charts but it's been hovering over the 53-57 range.
perhaps people do like the kinect bundle (with titanfall) better cause it's the "better" deal. i'm guessing this the PSP vs Vita scenario when people actually liked PSP but didn't like the new Vita so they started buying up PSP's.
i'm guessing microsoft is trying to price the Kinect seperate attachment as 130-150 to make the bundle seem better. who knows, if people start buying more of the kinect model, they could phase out the 399 model

You get more when you get a titanfall or forza with it and Kinect for 450, I would suggest selling one of those games if you don't like them and selling your Kinect camera before buying a $399 model. --- Xbox one, PS3, Wii Play for the games not the evil corporation, they're all evil in the end.
Probably because even at the same price, it's still weaker than the PS4, and everyone knows this by now, what with the X1 games that have gotten downgraded graphically from what was shown/promised, and no X1 games being able to match things like Killzone graphically --- Indeed
It's not a price drop. It's a feature drop. The Titanfall bundle moved back up after they announced the Kinect-less Xbox One because smart consumers realize that 500 for a game and Kinect (that you can sell for over 100 bucks) is a better deal than 400 for no Kinect and no game.
Also, some people are smart enough to know that another price drop will happen this year for the Kinect-less SKU. --- I'm going to marry Taylor Swift one day <3 PSN: Raptix546 3DS FC: 5455-9563-5441 IGN: Alex SV:1238
Even with the cheaper price and no kinect when you look at the 2 consoles side by side and don't take anything else into effect but the console it's still hands down the worst choice to pick. You are still getting a less powerful console with a worse UI. That's probably why it didn't shoot up to number one instantly. A lot of people are still going to either feel alienated or feel like it's still a worse deal. I know tons of people who flat out jumped ship from the xbox to the playstation simply because MS stopped supporting the console with new IPs so early in its life.
