Actually it is called an OPINION piece. It isn't based on fact or truth, it is based on the author's belief.
His OPINION piece is correct as far as I'm concerned having seen PS3 and Sony loyalists in general over the years. They are a sad bunch. So yeah, it makes it very true to me.

TC is blinded by nostalgia. The console wars started in the 80s and brand loyalty/tribalism was fostered more by Sega than any other console manufacturer. The only fanboys I've ever met IRL were Nintendo/Sega fans.
Apparently you were unaware of the Atari vs Intellivision vs The Odyssey back in the 70s.
If you're omnipotent and all-powerful...why would you need to REST? On the 7th or ANY day?

It has nothing to do with brand, it has to do with the massive mistakes Microsoft when they launched this game.
You don't market a games console as a tv box.

All that proves is that you are a fanboy for another company. Which makes you just as bad as any other fanboy.
I'm not the nicest person you'll meet.
Have a real point please.

Microsoft gave western developers a big boost on consoles... A lot of the hate is coming from butthurt weeaboos who miss eastern dominance on consoles.

Do remember Microsoft's original policies my friend.

"Intellivision 2 has the most going for it, more games than Atari and Coleco!"
Well of course you are going to have more games when you can blatantly steal Atari hardware and put it in your console (aka the System Changer):
Many people expressed amazement that the Intellivision's processor could emulate an Atari 2600. Well, it can't. The System Changer is itself simply an Atari 2600 clone -- essentially a 6507 processor, a TIA (Television Interface Adaptor) video/sound chip, and a 6532 RIOT chip (128 bytes RAM, I/O ports, and a general purpose timer). The System Changer only uses the Intellivision for its power supply and RF modulator.
Hard work may pay in the long run, but laziness always pays off right now!

Considering the amount of tenuously-relevant threads on the Xbox One boards as of late, I wanted to discuss the elephant in the room - brand extremism.
You're confusing generational factors with maturity. These xb1 trolls are just knuckleheads who need to grow out of their binary limited thinking. Of course, some people will never grow out of that.

I stopped reading after the first paragraph. I don't think that's true at all. I was born in 91 and I grew up with the playstation and Nintendo consoles we also had a sega genesis. I loved those but the 360 was awesome and I didn't like any console at that time as much as the 360. But the reason I don't like the xbox even half as much as I used to is because of MS. Halfway through the consoles life they gave up on it and stopped making new games. Then about 75% of the way through they stopped focusing on the core audience altogether and tried to hard to be Nintendo. Alienating me and pushing me away even more.
Then to make matters worse their new console makes it seem and feel like gaming wasn't their top priority. Like gaming took a backseat as they were focused on too many other things and not what the box's #1 priority should be which is gaming. The way I see it is It's Microsoft's fault they are the ones to drove me back into sonys loving embrace they continued to make new and original games WITH their sequels not just sequel after sequel after sequel. I own an xbox one but it is going to be like my ps3 last gen and be there just for exclusives I want to play which is getting to be less and less. They also seem to be going down the same path this gen by making black tusk cancel a game that sounds way better then a new gears to make a new gears. Which just made me dislike them even more.
