Will Halo 5 actually move consoles? A lot of fans did hate Halo 4...

And yes, I was one of those fans. I had played every game, read most of the books and so on but Halo 4 ruined the franchise for me. It really seemed like MS told 343 to just turn it into CoD, like, did we need sprinting? And then the addition of "perks" (I can't remember what they were called), and making loadouts made the game so unbalanced. The reason I loved Halo's multiplayer was because of it's balancing, when I died it would often be because, he was better or he saw me first, not because he was camping with a DMR or using the Prothean pistol (and I know they got nerfed). The campaign's level design was horrible, half the objectives were "go here, press this button). I know it wasn't just a vocal minority that disliked Halo 4, it was a lot of people. Though, I could see the Halo Collection selling consoles, to me as well (though Halo Anniversary just used Reach's assets, so yeah).

Well... Some people will buy anything that says Halo... The rest of us will probably wait and see since 4 was indeed garbage

LMAO at blaming 343 for what's basically Bungie's fault since they're the ones who introduced them in Reach, and after Bungie abandoned the series 343 had to pick up the slack and introduce the no bloom patch into Reach. The fact that 343 confirmed armor abilities to be out in Halo 5 puts them ahead of Bungie.

You do know that despite Sony's propaganda, Destiny is also available on Xbone right? At least they can pick between both games.

Conversely I really liked Halo 4 and played it extensively. I've been a fan of the series since the first one and bought an OG Xbox just for CE.

No worries on my part, day one purchase for me.

I thought Armor Abilities in Reach were alright, I didn't like them too much but they didn't change the flow of the game too much.

Lots of fans hated Gears 2, didn't stop Gears 3

Lots of people hated GTA 4, didn't stop V

Lots of people hated CoD, Assassins Creed etc it didn't stop them

Will Halo 5 move consoles? Imo definitely but nothing is guaranteed but assuming it doesn't, it won't be because people didn't like 4

Master Chief Collection definitely will. And I liked halo 4, COD is the worst S*** there is, don't compare halo to that EVER.
