Destiny can render at 1080p resolution and run at 30 frames per second on Xbox One thanks to a recent Microsoft development update, Bungie says.

More good news from E3.

only thing I worry about for Destiny is if a strong community will last on Xbox One. Ps4 is getting all of the attention since they paid for advertising and Xbox One has Halo Collection coming.

And if it was only 720p at 30fps I still couldn't tell the difference...considing I play games from the appropriate viewing distance to my T.V, there seems to be a lot of gamers who sit nose close up to their T.V and play games with how much intensity people talk about 1080p.

Buzzwords are fun I guess.

A good read for people who want to educate themselves on the subject.

im definitely interested to see how this game looks at release (not graphically but gameplay)

im not much of an mmo person so games that require a sustained population confuse me

This game looks so damn fun, I could care less about the resolution of it. Pisses me off that this is the only thing that this generation of gamers care about. I'm not trying to say you are one of these ppl TC but the elitists are ruining the gaming community.

There was a lengthy discussion about this yesterday.

This is NOT good news! This is only "good news" for fanboys who want to continue to argue about resolution.

This is bad because it is a shooter that will NOT BE 60 FPS. 60 FPS needs to be the target for a fluid shooter---not 1080p, 720p, or 4k. Framerate is much more important.

I swear this console peon resolution fanboy crap is ruining game.

Great news, hopefully the frame rate is steady. I don't mind 30fps in shooters if it's consistent.

Surprised PS4 isn't running it at 60fps. Ponies sure are quiet about that, I wonder why

I'm sure the game will have a decent crowd playing it, COD: Ghosts still has matches going for it on X1.
