That's not a good idea. You have no clue how that system was treated regardless of what they're telling you. If you do go through with it, you need to ask the seller if the console has been banned for on-line use, and if the warranty seal is still in tact. I have no clue where that seal is by the way.

I wouldn't buy a PS4 or Xbox One used at this point. I wouldn't buy a fat PS3 or Xbox 360 (obviously used at this point) either. The only thing that I would buy used is a slim Xbox 360 or slim PS3, and that's a big maybe.

Nope. I tried buying an X1 off of Ebay for $410, and the seller did not send the X1 or respond back to me after I paid for it. Luckily Ebay and Paypal will give you your money back if the seller does not respond to you....it is much harder if the seller actually sent you something.

So do not buy an X1 off of Ebay unless it is from a reputable company, and the price is realistic. After that experience, I bought my X1 from a store.

I would say go for it if it's really at that price.

Good luck not getting out-bidded though.

Ohhhh wait, I haven't even thought of the idea that it's been tampered with hmmm....

Well, I'm sure if the worst case scenario is your reality, then you could just contact your lawyer, as it's unlawful to label something as mint condition and to have that product obviously been tampered with.
