Xbox one 3D support?

#1gerbil_stuffaPosted 6/12/2014 2:54:43 AM
Sorry if this has been discussed.

Anyone have an update or if this has been added or not? Purchasing a 4K over the next week or so and debating on going with a 3D or not.

I love 3D but if the Xbox one is NOT supporting be good to know.

Anyone have links or facts? Not just opinions please.

Thanks all

Phil Spencer said in a recent interview that they really don't have anything to announce just yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=sameAKsFcQ0#t=590

If you're going to shell out for a 4K TV, does it really matter? Get a dedicated BD player if that stupid 3D gimmick is so important instead of expecting MS to waste resources on it.

I'd be surprised if 3D is standard on 4k tv's. It's damn near standard on HD tv's as it is.

Also, how can people possibly still call 3D a gimmick. It's been around continuously now for like 14 years and it isn't going any where. Personally I love it.

Your missing a huge point mate sorry.

The xboxone is advertised as a home entertainment system as well as a console. I have not asked something out of the ordinary here. BluRay 3D sells in99% of DVD outlets and as the xbox is ADVERTISED as your all in one home system it would make sense to support that no ?

No point in arguing about it is there ?

Only an idiot would wear out a gaming console watching discs. A regular BD player is a hell of a lot cheaper. It's still an Xbox, no matter how they advertise it. It's about gaming, and people who buy it for anything else make me sick.
