How is EA UFC both 900p on Xbox One/PS4, yet the Xbox One has a lot more jaggies

To the above, that's the big issue I have with XONE. Why pay more or the same for a lessor experience? I imagine this is how the general consumer will look at it when it comes down to purchasing a new console.

I would like to think devs will harness the tech, as it's incredibly early in the gen. But if this all the devs can muster on the XONE with resolution, FPS and AA, i feel the gap will widen even more and MS will have to rely on exclusives, which is something they haven't excelled at since early gen with 360.

That's just it, you don't pay more anymore now that the Kinect has been unbundled.

I personally don't have an Xbone yet but unbundling the Kinect and removing the paywall on stuff like Netflix? That's pretty much ensured I'll own the system in a few years. It'll be a while yet because I already got a PS4 at launch and it doesn't make sense to have both systems, least this early into the gen but I'm quite sure I'll have the system eventually. It's no longer the devil after all the changes Microsoft made.

That said, I'll be getting my multiplat titles on the PS4 pretty much exclusively but the Xbone should end up with exclusives I want that will justify its cost.

Remember folks, everything negative can't possibly be true, it must just be trolling.

I think we should NEVER criticize ANYTHING by Microsoft no matter how bad, we don't want them to feel they must do better or improve...

And anything positive must be flooded by trolls and spun into something bad.

I don't see that much of a difference. My 2 oldest sons and I have PS4's, my youngest son(13), has an XBox One. He wanted to go where his school friends were going, as I don't like him making online friends at that age unless I have heard them and feel they are around the same age.

Anyway, enough of the parenting BS. If you are in the same house with the consoles you can tell small things if your playing the same game, other than that they are the same thing.

There is nothing that jumps out at me, that would make me choose one or another. I got the PS4, because my older boys had the PS3's and we have Vita's, so I enjoy the ecosystem.

The only problem is knowing that there isn't parity and spending the same amount or more in that system.

It comes down real friends and family, controllers, maybe your Gamerscore and trophies, then exclusives. Just my opinion, but I think both consoles are pretty fun and have a great future of gaming. I get excited about video games, because it's a hobby that keeps me connected with my kids as I'm stationed in another state away from them.

Those aren't "jaggies" its a special preorder bonus only the x1 gets. Its actually spiked armor and brass knuckles that you can use for super awesome finishing moves and defense against submission specialists

It makes sense to reduce Antialiasing and super sampling to optimize the performance according to the system's power. The Xbox One obviously has the weaker hardware, so resolution isn't the issue here; textures, shadows quality, AA and SS are graphics settings that affect performance.
