How much did you spend on your TV + sound system in your gaming setup?

About 3k for TV. About 1k for reciever and speakers. A couple hundred here and there for mounting brackets, wire, connectors, etc. planning on spending about 1.2k to upgrade all my speakers and then I'll be done until it's time to upgrade the TV.

$1100 for the display - Panasonic
$275 for the THX/ISF calibration
$700 for the receiver - Denon
$600 and change for the speakers - Polk
$500 for the sub - Hsu Research

It's all been piecemeal for the last few years, but I'm pretty happy with the setup, finally. :D

$430 on the TV, 51" Samsung 720p Plasma from Best Buy 2 years ago.

$250 on Onkyo 5.1 AVR 3 years ago

Front speakers were free from my dad, Realistic Optimus 1000's from way back when Radio Shack was the kitties. Refoamed the 15" drivers and they sound ****ing amazing again.

Rear speakers are POS KLH bookshelfs, they work and were free.

$100 on Polk CS10 center channel 2 years ago.

So 780, and I love it all to death.

edit: make that 800, foam kit for the speakers was about 20 bucks

A nice big center is key. I went with the CSI A6 and absolutely love it.

Home Theater:
Panasonic AE4000u
77" acoustically transparent screen
ProAc Studio speakers
ProAc CC
4 x M&K tripoles
SVS PB12+ subwoofer
Pioneer Elite SC-5
Acoustical room treatment
Oppo BD-93 blu-ray

Living room
Pioneer 7.1 receiver
Panasonic 55" VT50
Paradigm reference speakers
SVS 20-39 subwoofer

Don't know how much I've spent. This is before game consoles/games/DVDs/blurays.

It is an addiction.

640

400 for an LG 720p 32in in 2008 (got it mainly because it was one of the few TVs at the time with minimal input lag)
200 for the original Sony soundbar
40 for a refurbished pair of Turtle Beach X32's about a month ago for late night gaming sessions

CS10 is indeed a budget center, but it's beyond just fine for me. Thanks for the recommendation though, when I start upgrading everything one day hopefully, I'll keep that in mind.

This was about 3 years ago, I think I spent 350 for a 42" LG TV.

I don't have a sound system at all, I just don't have the room for that kind of stuff. I would like at least 5.1 surround sound though.

About 2000. 1100 for the TV. 400 for the A/V receiver. 250 for the subwoofer. I already had the speakers from a previous set up so the rest of the money went on speaker stands etc.
