I am just wondering if I could play Ryse since I have the kinect-less Xbox One console. I know there are moments when you have to issue commands through verbal gestures, so I was wondering if there is a way to circumvent this if you don't have Kinect? I would like to get this game, but only if I can play it without Kinect. Thanks. --- Current Consoles: Xbox One, PS3, SNES, Genesis, Neo Geo Gold X My Game Collection: http://vgcollect.com/icewolf

No whenever a voice prompt comes up you just hold lb instead till the meter fills up and it applies the command

No but it's much better with kinect, the button prompts take too long and disrupt game play if your fighting. The voice commands are near instantaneous. --- Microsoft fans and Sony fans, can't we all just get along?...

The only thing required to play Ryse is willpower. It took a lot of willpower for me to force myself to finish it. Thats saying something considering how short it is. --- PSN: Mokmuud XBL: Fumokmuud NNID: Mokmuud 3DS FC: 3222-6547-9539

As other posters said, it's entirely possible to play with just button inputs, however it's quicker and simpler with Kinect inputs. --- Double Jump Game Comics: http://doublejump.thecomicseries.com/

"Do you need Kinect to play Ryse?"
I don't connect my Kinect. Ryse was the first game I bought. No problem playing it. I don't have to talk to my TV. I do recommend the game. --- "Correct. Xbox One is Kinect." Microsoft VP Really...seems this Day One Edition purchaser was "Madoff-ed by Microsoft."
